United’s lease was expiring and they needed a new location that would better reflect the culture they were trying to create for their growing business.
United was focusing on Melville which is a popular office area on Long Island. However, there were few buildings that had the space at the pricing United preferred. I introduced United’s principal to buildings in Farmingdale, a market immediately South of Melville. The buildings in this market were as nice as the Melville buildings just at substantially lower pricing.
I negotiated an excellent deal for United in a premier Farmingdale building. I also helped to design the space to accommodate United’s business needs. UNA still occupies this space today.
