The Challenge

Proginet Corporation was ready to expand and create a new image in Garden City, Long Island. The purpose of this new office was to become the corporate headquarters as the president, Kevin Kelly, was taking Proginet public. To accomplish this goal, Proginet needed 10,000 square feet of competitively priced office space in a class “A” building with a state-of-the-art layout.

The Solution

Mr. Kelly was experienced in the office leasing process. He knew that he would need a tenant representative to provide the level of service necessary to accomplish his goals. After a stringent interview process he hired Ross Selinger, president of Selinger Enterprises, Inc. Ross immediately performed a comprehensive Request-For-Proposal process soliciting proposals from alternative locations. This process revealed a few buildings that provided the location, image and value that NFN desired. Ross positioned Proginet Corporation, as a premier company that would be an asset to any landlord’s portfolio. By “making the market” on behalf of his client, Ross was able to create significant leverage.
